Defiantly one of the best art apps! The clarity of the paintings is awesome while the selection is great. A must get app!

Yes he was a great painter but they completely ignored that ge had drawings of future devices like tanks and helicopters to name just two of many futuristice predictions/ideas. I felt ripped off big time as I have seen his paintings and my interest was in ths above futuristic thinker, a major aspect of his life and focus and they dont bother eveb covering even one of them....very disappointing.

So cool they did this for all the classic artists. Better quality than books you would get at the museum and a fraction of the cost. These apps alone make an iPad worthwhile. Im not even an art nut but am blown away by the easy access to full collections of art at phenomenal quality (if you havent checked there are a lot more than Da Vinci available to download).

Slightly disappointed as I was expecting to see more of his drawings on engineering, inventions and anatomy. This app is more about the art, which is well represented, and for $.99 it is not a total loss, but it is lacking content and cannot be considered a complete collection of da Vincis works. Hopefully the developers are working to rectify this issue.
